I’ve been holding off upgrading to HDTV until there’s a decent DVR solution. The TiVo Series 3 looks pretty sweet, but something based on the new Intel-based Mac Mini would be more flexible. Sadly there’s a rumor that such a product won’t be coming from Apple. The eyeTV product from Elgato Systems looks interesting. Maybe I’ll hack a homegrown one together in my copious free time.
